Ishan - Our Beloved Son

Our Story

Some lives are measured in years. Some are measured in the love and light they leave behind. Our son Ishan belonged to the latter. From a very young age, he had a very special connection with music, especially classical Marathi music. Among all the songs he listened to, the music from Katyar Kaljat Ghusli and the voice of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi touched him the most. Though Ishan could not speak, music was never silent in his world. It became his way of feeling, understanding and staying connected. He didnt just listen casually he listened with a depth that we could see and feel every day. These songs stayed with him through every stage of his life, even on his very last day.

He found happiness in very simple things enjoying his favourite meal, sitting outside in fresh air, or just being close to the people he loved. For fourteen years, he took us on a journey we had never imagined. Through him, we slowly learned patience, humility and a different way of looking at life. We began to value moments we once took for granted. During this time, we were supported by the kindness of many strangers who became like family to us. At the same time, we also experienced distance from a few relationships we once thought would always remain close. Both these experiences became part of what Ishan unknowingly taught us that life is about accepting change while holding on to what truly matters.

Watching how deeply he loved music, I started learning to sing. Not with the intention of performing, but simply to share something meaningful with him. It became our quiet connection something beyond words. Every note I learned was for him, so that he could hear it, feel it and know he was loved. Even today, though he is not physically with us, his presence is felt in so many moments, especially when music fills the space around us. Krish Entertainment was born from this feeling as a way to keep that connection alive, and to create a place where art, culture and community can continue to bring people together. Because some journeys dont really end they just take a different form.

"Though he is not with us anymore, he can still be with us forever - in the form of music."

The Founding

How Krish Entertainment Was Born

The thought arrived quietly - and then all at once. If music could keep Ishan present while he was with us, why could it not keep him present still? This idea - to bring him back to life one more time through music - was both deeply emotional and strangely exciting.

And so Krish Entertainment LLC was founded, and Krish Entertainment was born. Not as a business venture, but as an act of love. A way of honoring a life that changed us forever, and sharing the music he cherished with a community that deserves to hear it.

Our Mission

The Heart Behind the Mission

What started as a deeply personal journey has grown into a shared vision.

Through Krish Entertainment, we hope to create meaningful cultural spaces for Indian families living far from home - spaces where performing arts are not just presented, but experienced together.

From classical concerts and theatre performances to festive gatherings and community celebrations, every initiative is designed to bring people closer to their roots while also building new bonds within the diaspora.

The focus is simple: to offer artists a thoughtful platform, to create joyful moments for audiences, and to ensure that traditions continue to live naturally in everyday life.

By bringing people together through art, Krish Entertainment hopes to nurture a sense of belonging - one that feels familiar, welcoming, and deeply human.
